Celebrating the Hearts and Flowers of our community: our women and children.

The Vintage, Hearts and Flowers Family Event is a fundraiser for the Woman's and Children's Free Restaurant, this is a can food drive presented in a fun way through face-painting, a little vintage fashion fun with our al-fresco freeze modeling out on the sidewalks, and a whole lot of canned food collecting for the WCFR. Besides stopping to get the kids face-painted and to drop off your cans of food; to many to list, you can wander up and down the street getting to know the North Monroe shops. There will be a few vintage cars and motorcycles, and you can purchase a BBQed hotdog (OR TWO) across the street at the Hub Tavern in their new outdoor lounge area. And don't forget to stop in at Paint In My Hair to do a take away project. Do you like kitties and doggies? The Humane Society will also be with us, come adopt a pet after you drop off your canned goods.

Plus you well be able to purchase a $3.00 raffle ticket or two to win a donated original artwork from Cecile G. Charles, one of our local fine artists. A representative of the WCFR will be with us for your questions on this wonderful local non-profit. Pass it on!
